Hotel/motel tax funds local business grants, not resident taxes

The inaugural Yukon Strong Business Investment Grant awarded $62,000 to 17 locally owned businesses, funded entirely by Hotel/Motel Tax revenue — a tax paid by visitors staying in Yukon hotels, not drawn from residents' general taxes.
