Public Art Policy adopted — among the first in Oklahoma

The Yukon City Council adopted a Public Art Policy and a Public Art Incentive Compliance Policy on April 7, 2026, requiring new development projects to incorporate public art or contribute to a Public Art Fund. City staff stated Yukon is among the first cities in Oklahoma to adopt such a policy.
