Economic Development Incentive Policy and Yukon Horizon Program adopted

The Yukon City Council adopted a formal, written Economic Development Incentive Policy on April 7, 2026, establishing standardized public criteria for how the city evaluates and offers development incentives. The same meeting created the Yukon Horizon Program, a new split sales-tax reimbursement incentive for developers and small businesses, with terms up to 10 years, a $500,000 minimum capital-investment threshold, and rules aligning it with the city's TIF districts.

What it means: Replaces case-by-case incentive deals with written, public rules any business can read in advance.
