Rock the Route Centennial concert

Rock the Route is a free downtown concert at 5th & Main Street, headlined for the Route 66 Centennial year by Josh Weathers with The Smokin' Oaks, scheduled for September 3, 2026. New for 2026, the event added a drone show with fireworks, a free shuttle bus from Yukon Middle School, a kids' area, food trucks and live music. The city closed Main Street from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. to host it, and the council recognized Vladislava Czech Bakery for its feature in the Route 66 Centennial Passport Book at the event.

What it means: A free, family-friendly downtown festival that activates the Route 66 corridor for the Centennial.
