Yukon offers mutual aid to El Reno during water emergency

During El Reno's water emergency on August 26-27, 2026, the City of Yukon offered mutual aid: Yukon Fire coordinated directly with El Reno's fire chief, City Manager Jeff Deckard offered a Water Management crew, and the City assisted the Union City Correctional Facility — which draws water through El Reno's system — when it called for help.

What it means: A good-neighbor response to a regional emergency, at zero cost to Yukon taxpayers
