$1,640,000

Community Project Funding — equipment replacement, power-outage resiliency

Federal funding secured for wastewater treatment plant upgrades

Congresswoman Stephanie Bice presented $1.64 million in federal Community Project Funding to the City of Yukon in person during the week of February 17-21, 2026, dedicated to upgrades at the Wastewater Treatment Facility. The funding will let the city replace aging equipment before it fails and strengthen the plant's ability to keep operating during power outages.

What it means: Protects the wastewater plant's most failure-prone equipment before it fails — at no cost to Yukon taxpayers
