Cornwell Drive sidewalk project

A multi-phase sidewalk project along Cornwell Drive between Main Street and N.W. 10th Street, on a corridor that previously had no sidewalks at all. Phase one — the west side of Cornwell from Van Elm to Glenda Avenue, at $249,903 — was approved in February 2024, before this council took office. This council has kept the project funded, setting money aside each fiscal year to carry the remaining phases forward rather than letting a part-built corridor stall.

What it means: A pedestrian corridor started under the previous council and kept funded through to completion by this one
